  • A free, community-led day featuring short “sampler” workshops, hands-on repair, creative demonstrations, and shared learning. Come explore, watch, try, and connect at your own pace.

    The event itself is free but bring cash for donating to the menders and artists running workshops (suggested donation of $5-20 per workshop). Food will also be available for purchase.

Come with something to mend - or simply your curiosity! Throughout the day, you’ll be able to explore, learn, and take part in a wide range of activities, including:

  • repairers and menders working with the public

  • artists using repurposed and salvaged materials

  • the Mend:Able exhibit, showcasing well-loved repaired items

  • expert fixers onsite for hands-on repair help

  • zero waste initiatives and community organizations

  • local makers and businesses working with reused materials

  • storytelling and documentation of repair and reuse
